I have been making a showing sculptures since the early 1980s.  While I enjoy making and looking at them, I hope to place them out in the world and inspire thought and dialog.  We create the world every day with our imaginations and our tools, and many of these sculptures are an effort to envision and create a just, peaceful and sustainable world.  The Dualities Made Whole page contains photos of sculptures meant to illustrate the potential of peaceful communities existent in North American suburbs already, but perhaps a bit hidden by an emphasis on material accumulation.

The figures in the sculptures are all about 2" high and individually made of wax on wire armatures.  They have four arms because I imagine these communities inhabited by people with deeper connections to each other and the world around them.
